Ardhanarishvara/Hiranyagarbha

The cosmic dance in the cosmic golden egg.

Ardhanarishvara represents the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies of the universe which are inseparable and in constant interplay. The union of these principles is exalted as the root and womb of all creation. Here shiva/shakti dances within the golden cosmic egg- Hiranyagarbha, the womb of creation. The internal shape represents both lingham ( penis) and yoni ( womb) , as a portal opening into the cosmos.
